New Orleans Bayou Bash Returns to Disneyland Park as Part of Limited Time Magic

It's that time of year again, and it was announced today, on the Disney Parks Blog that this year's New Orleans Bayou Bash will take place this month in Disneyland Park as part of Limited Time Magic.  I was lucky enough to be in town during the kickoff of last year's party and to say we had "fun" is an understatement!  I am from the South and have visited New Orleans several times, though sadly, never during Mardi Gras!  The New Orleans Bayou Bash gave me the opportunity to experience a family style version of Mardi Gras in my favorite place on Earth!  Be sure to check out my post about last year's New Orleans Bayou Bash!

New Orleans Square is one of my favorite areas in Disneyland Park and during the Bayou Bash, the streets are decked out with Purple and Gold, shiny beads and  beautiful Fleur de Lis...even the characters have come out to party in their Mardi Gras finest.  The music is jazzy and the food is spicy...just like in the Big Easy and this is one special event you WON'T wanna miss! I know I'll be there again for the kick-off this year and I am super excited! See you there!?

• January 18-21
• January 25-27
• February 1-3
• February 8-12

Tiana joins the Royal Street Bachelors as they perform at French Market

I am happy to see that some of my favorite New Orleans bayou Bash happenings are taking place again this year:

• Princess Tiana's Mardi Gras Celebration - Tap your feet to your favorite tunes from Princess and the Frog as Princess Tiana, Prince Naveen, and lovable Louis make their way through the streets of New Orleans Square in a parade of sorts that ends in front of the Rivers of America!
• Jambalaya Jazz Band:  This live ensemble will keep your toes tapping as they perform live throughout the streets of New Orleans Square.
• Royal Street Bachelors: Preforming live on the French Market Stage, this popular Disneyland mainstay band will be joined by special guest Tiana throughout the day!  They are GOOD and even if you're not eating, they can be heard from the benches in front of the New Orleans Square Train Station.
• New Orleans Traditional Jazz Band:  When I think of New Orleans, I think of a party and can picture colorful performers with umbrellas bouncing up and down to the beat of some catchy jazz tunes. Well, this is what you'll get when this lively traditional processional makes its way through the streets of New Orleans Square throughout the day!
• Court of Angels Character Greetings: Meet some of your favorite characters in the Court of Angels located near the back of New Orleans Square!  Last year we had fun with Masquerade  Chip and Dale but this year's line up includes Mickey and Minnie, Goofy, and Princess Tiana who will be all decked out and ready to party!
