Photo Courtesy of Disney Flying Fish Cafe, a Signature restaurant located at Disney's Boardwalk Resort, is a high end restaurant specializing in fresh seafood selections and features an on-stage kitchen where the talent behind Flying Fish can be found creating the culinary masterpieces this restaurant is well known for. In my opinion, Flying Fish Cafe has one of the most diverse wine lists in all of Walt Disney World. Flying Fish has been Wine Spectator's "Award of Excellence" and the incredibley exstensive wine list features an astonishing 50+ wines available by the glass, an impressive 'by the bottle' selection, as well as several geniously paired flights. Flying Fish Cafe also offers a Chef's Tasting Wine Dinner nightly with two seatings (5:45 / 8:15). This intimate dining experience boasts a 6-course Prix-Fixe Menu which focuses on simple ingredients, seasonality, and trends. Guests are seated at the Chef's Counter, located directly in front og the on-stage kitchen, affording them the opportunity to interact with the Chef while watching each course being expertly prepared before their eyes. The sommolier hand-picks complimentary wines for each course tailoring each choice to match perfectly with the elements of the meal. View a SAMPLE Menu here Don't forget to enter last week's Wine Wednesday Giveaway HERE: A Decorative Glass Mickey Wine Accessories Set! A Seat at the Chef's Counter will wind up totaling out at over $100. before tax, and this intimate experience is recommended for adults only. Reservations are highly suggested and can be boked 180 days in advance online or by calling (407)WDW-DINE. The Dress Code at Flying Fish Cafe is pretty lenient, but this IS a signature restaurant, so I would suggest business casual at the least! I am not a Disney Employee, but LOVE the Mouse and love spreading my passion for Disney! |
