Going to Walt Disney World was nothing new for me as I have been there over ten times in just the past decade! I am a huge snacker but somehow out of all of my visits and countless snack encounters I missed out on the fruity and delicious Pineapple Dole Whip.
I have to admit that when I first approached Aloha Isle this past January as a Dole Whip virgin, I was expecting a fancier form of a fruit smoothie or perhaps even a sorbet. I stand corrected.
Disney’s Pineapple Dole Whip is a dairy-free soft-serve concoction from heaven... The BEST frozen dessert on Earth. The Pineapple Dole Whip is available by itself, with all its Pineappley goodness, or swirled with Vanilla Ice Cream. To make this an even more divine affair, Aloha Isle also offers a Pineapple Dole Whip Float, a fantastic blend of Pineapple, or Swirl Dole Whip with fresh pineapple juice. To sum it up in one word: FANTASTIC!
This fruity concoction has easily made its way to number one on my favorite snacks at Disney list and it is sure to make your list as well! Can you believe it is INCLUDED as a snack with the Disney Dining Plan? The pineapple dole whip serves as the perfect mid-day snack on a hot day or even as a dessert after a great meal. This special frozen treat is only found in a few places world-wide... while at Disney World, you can find this delicacie at Aloha Isle in the Magic Kingdom Resort (right across the Adventure Land Bridge near the Enchanted Tiki Room) or via the self-serve station at The Polynesian Resort's Captain Cook's.
Like anything Disney, this snack was made to please! I recommend the Pineapple Dole Whip to everyone, a must buy at Disney!
